Every driver fully intends to deliver a load safely to its destination, but when transporting sweeteners, it is extra important that this is done correctly. To safeguard their quality, sweeteners must be transported at a specific temperature.
Our tank trailers and tank containers can be heated to ensure that glucose or dextrose, for example, are transported at precisely the right temperature.
We continually monitor the temperature during loading, transport and unloading. This gives our clients the guarantee that glucose is transported in our insulated tank trailers and containers under the best possible conditions.
As a customer, you need to depend on the timely delivery of your shipment of glucose or fructose. As a producer, you need the assurance that we will load and deliver at the agreed times. To provide those guarantees, we monitor our trailers in real time.
This enables us to inform you about the precise arrival time of a trailer and notify you proactively if there are any unexpected changes. Other options include Track and Trace via your Transport Management System (TMS) and GPS data.
Food safe transport is vital. Wemmers Tanktransport operates according to the highest HACCP, SQAS and ATCN standards and is ISO 22000 certified. The various certification we hold demonstrates our commitment to quality.
Tank containers are cleaned at our modern cleaning stations in Zaandam and Bleskensgraaf.
We have been awarded EFTCO Food Assessment: a European certificate that approves our tank cleaning station in compliance with the standards for food products. Wemmers Tanktransport is also part of a network of certified cleaning installations in the Netherlands: the Association of Tank Cleaning Companies Netherlands (ATCN).
As a producer, you want to be able to focus on the production process. Wemmers can provide a full service experience with On Site Operations.
This means that a regular Wemmers On Site Operator will be present at your production site every day to arrange (pre-)loading and/or unloading of tank trailers. .
