“Prior to being permitted to work independently for Wemmers, I received a thorough induction. I followed the basic training, in which I learned to work according to the appropriate protocols and guidelines. Part of the basic training is a HACCP course about safe and responsible handling of foodstuffs. To keep my knowledge up-to-date and to refresh my basic skills, I regularly follow Code 95 courses.”

“Every product has its own characteristics. Oils and fats have to be transported at specific temperatures to preserve their inherent qualities. I drive a modern truck and tank trailer that is completely equipped for transporting the food stuffs in optimum condition. The tank trailer can be heated and has a pump so that it is no problem to pump over liquids with a higher viscosity and it has a number of compartments so that we can transport smaller quantities of different products. At Wemmers, we are fully equipped for transporting vegetable oils and fats.”
